Colussi Perugia won the women's Champions League title for a second time in three years after beating Russian side Zarechie Odintsovo three sets to one in Murcia.
The Italians, who had beaten Asystel Novara three sets to two in the semis, were in imposing form rushing to a two sets to love lead with 25-15 and 25-21 frames.
The Russians, who had upset hosts Grupo 2002 Murcia three sets to one in the previous round, struck back 25-18 in the third frame.
But Colussi Perugia closed out the title in imposing fashion taking the final frame 25-14.
Asystel Novara confirmed the Italian superiority by beating Murcia three sets to two in the three/four play-off to claim a well-earned bronze position.
