Young Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford has expressed his joy at finally making his Football League debut on the final day of the season.Belford, 19, replaced the injured Jim Provett with 15 minutes remaining of the Shakers' 2-0 win at Accrington.
The former Coventry trainee told the club's official website: "It's better late than never, it has been a long wait to get into the team but I was prepared to do that at the start of the season when I came in as a young lad starting my first year as a pro.
"It was always going to be hard getting into the first team, especially with Jim Provett doing so well.
"I managed to keep the ball out of the back of the net so that makes it more pleasing.
"Now I can say that I'm a Football League goalkeeper."
