Brighton Player of the Season Tommy Elphick insists he will be looking to improve on his performances when the new season kicks off.The 20-year-old defender broke into the Seagulls' first team this season and has established himself as one of the club's key players.

Despite impressing during the current campaign, Elphick is not getting complacent.

"I'm looking to improve. Everyone can improve their game that 10% extra and I'll be looking to do that," he told the club's official website.

"I'll have a good month off now and the second month of our break I'll be trying to hit the ground running if you like for pre-season."
