Wrexham boss Brian Little has continued his preparations for the Blue Square Premier by announcing the axing of eight more first-team players.Skipper Neil Roberts joins Danny Williams, Chris Llewellyn, Michael Jones, Michael Carvill, Alex Darlington and Jamie Reed in the list of players who will be released by the Dragons.

A statement also confirmed that loanees Robbie Garrett, Paul Hall, Drewe Broughton, Richard Duffy and Stuart Nicholson will not be offered permanent deals.

However, Little has opted to award 19-year-old midfielder Matt Done and former Tranmere defender Carl Tremarco, 22, new deals.

Out-of-contract Wales international Steven Evans will consider his future at the club this week.
