Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson has admitted he faces some "difficult decisions" as he considers how to improve his squad in the transfer market.Pools ended their campaign without a win in their final six games, and despite holding pre-season play-off aspirations finished 15th, leaving Wilson eager to seek quality reinforcements during the close season.

"We will know in the next week or so who we are allowed to keep and who will be leaving. But I will be very surprised if there are not new faces over the summer," Wilson told the Hartlepool Mail.

"I am not too worried about wholesale changes but we do need a bit more quality in there.

"There are always difficult decisions because we've got to try to get better than what we've had this season.

"I think we've got some very good players in the club and I think they've been very unlucky at certain times of the year. I don't think it has always been bad play."
