Croatia coach Slaven Bilic has announced his 23-man squad for this summer's Euro 2008 tournament in Switzerland and Austria.

Portsmouth's Niko Kranjcar, Manchester City's Vedran Corluka and Tottenham's £16.5m signing from Dynamo Zagreb, Luka Modric, make up the Premier League contingent in the squad, which includes Werder Bremen striker Ivan Klasnic.

Klasnic underwent a kidney transplant last year and caps a remarkable recovery as one of five forwards included.

Bilic signed a new two-year deal to lead the Croatian national team on Monday, following months of protracted negotiations. The former West Ham United player is said to have demanded better facilities and higher salaries for himself and his training staff.

His new contract begins on August 1st, putting pay to rumours linking him with the potentially vacant position at Manchester City if Sven-Goran Erikkson is dismissed.

Croatia will face Germany, Poland and Austria in group A when Euro 2008 gets underway in June.
