Champions League - Jose: United won't win final

Inter coach Jose Mourinho does not believe Manchester United will win the Champions League final.

The former Chelsea manager says the winner of Wednesday's semi-final between Chelsea and Barcelona will lift the trophy in Rome on May 27.

"The team that wins the semi-final between the Blues and Barca will be champions," Mourinho told Sky Italia.

"Cristiano Ronaldo's team will not win it.

"Do I like Chelsea's football or not? I don't know. It is my old team, so judging them is difficult. What I can say is that they are the strongest team in the world in terms of physical strength.

"Guus Hiddink is convinced that they will achieve a great result at home.

"But Barcelona have already shown what they can do if they have space. As a result, the second leg will be a top game."

  1. i remeber when english football was @#$% seria a will­ rise again after all it wasnt that long ago that­ italian teams were unstoppable how can u say barca are­ week man u has had a pretty luck filled run defenders­ scoring and now barca will cut them up i think its­ 12 champ leage between italian and spanish if u go back­ to the start of the competion so english teams have not­ caught up yet maybe

  18. i don't blame jose, we have seen what happen to­ chelsea, is obvious UEFA want to give that cup away to­ BARCA with no much effort, firstly they started by­ grouping barca to play basel, lyon, baryern, no italian­ no english club, until semi and they sees that barca­ isn't that good enough, now they want that cup by­ all means, though i trust united, we are not like­ chelsea, we will score 3 goals first half and hen wait­ for what will happen next ..
