Serie A - 'Everyone in England' wants Trezeguet

Juventus striker David Trezeguet is a target for several English clubs, according to his father.

The 31-year-old is under contract with Juve until June 2011, but has been linked with a move away from Turin after falling out of favour with coach Claudio Ranieri.

And Jorge Trezeguet, who also serves as the former France international's agent, said: "Everyone wants him in England."

He added: "Lyon also are interested in him while relations with Barcelona are always good.

"We will see what happens at the end of the season."

Trezeguet opted to remain with Juve last summer despite reported interest from Barcelona.

He returned to fitness in January after picking up an injury in November, but has made just six Serie A appearances and scored one goal for the Bianconeri this season.

  1. Actually there were 2 penalties in the last game, Del­ Piero let the first one to Trezegol and Trez let the­ next one to his captain. When they are both fit and­ they both play, they're the best attack in Serie A.­ Over 40 goals last season! A shame Ranieri is so­ stubborn to leave Trez on the bank.

  4. Trez is a very good player. Some of you dont even know­ of it. And of course he can do it in serie A, was 2nd­ top scorer last season with del piero top because trez­ let him take the pen that decided it and hes been out­ for half season.
