Championship - Sheffield Wednesday have denied reports that Northern Ireland winger Chris Brunt is set to move to a Premiership club this summer.
Brunt, 22, has been a big hit at Hillsborough since moving from Middlesbrough three years ago and Fulham and Wigan have been tipped to swoop for the starlet.
"We've seen reports of clubs interested but have yet to receive any bids," the club told BBC Sport. "Our manager Brian Laws is set to offer Chris a new contract."
Fulham have seen Wayne Routledge return to Tottenham following his loan and boss Lawrie Sanchez called Brunt up to the Northern Ireland squad last year and is rumoured to be preparing a raid for the player along with other compatriots David Healy, Chris Baird and Stephen Davis.
"Chris would like to move to the Premiership but also stated his desire to lead Wednesday into the top flight," Wednesday's spokesman continued.
"He has a year left on his current deal and we are aiming to keep him here for longer which is our aim with all our best players."
Brunt scored ten league goals this campaign.
