Brighton & Hove Albion defender Adam El-Abd has committed his future to the Seagulls and signed a new two-year deal with the south-coast club. The versatile 23-year-old, one of Brighton's most consistent performers until a knee injury curtailed his season in March, could have left on a free transfer this summer but has now committed himself to the Seagulls.
"I'm pleased Adam has signed and that he sees his future as part of what we are trying to do here," manager Micky Adams told the club's official website.
El-Abd added: "I'm really pleased to have sorted everything out. These are exciting times for this football club and I'm looking forward to working with the new manager."
