Tim Coronel is the first driver this season to be rewarded with World Touring Car Championship participation thanks to his results in the SEAT Leon Eurocup.
The 37-year old Dutchman was classified third and fourth in the two races of the series's opening meeting which took place in Valencia and won a place on the grid for the next WTCC event on June 21 at Brno.
At the Czech track Coronel will drive a petrol-powered SEAT Leon run by the Spain-based SUNRED Engineering, joining the team's regular drivers Tom Boardman and Tim's twin brother Tom Coronel.
Although the Coronels shared a car in this year's Dakar Rally, Brno will be the first time they have competed as team-mates elsewhere for several years.
