New Huddersfield recruit Chris Lucketti has targeted promotion to the Championship following his free-transfer move from Sheffield United. The 36-year-old centre-back has signed a two-year deal with the Terriers and returns to the club where he enjoyed a previous spell between 1999 and 2001.
Lucketti becomes Stan Ternent's fourth new signing of the summer, following fellow defender Andy Butler, striker Keigan Parker and midfielder Jim Goodwin.
Lucketti said: "Obviously I'm delighted to be back - I can't stress that enough.
"You can speak to a lot of people and you hear about the big strides the club is making in order to get promotion this year.
"I see that as a challenge for me and the rest of the squad. Getting this club back into the Championship has to be the aim."
