2007 Tour de France winner and Kazakh cycling team Astana (AST)'s leader of Spain rides in the pack duringthe 196 km third stage of the 2009 Tour de France cycling race run between Marseille and La Grande-Motte. Mark Cavendish of Great Britain won the stage while Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland retained the yello jersey.
