    You miss the point.
Nadal has given his all and will now ( unfortunately) be plagued with knee troubles for the rest of his career.

  9. Fed lost 5 Majors and all of them to Nadal

  10. when Fed 23, he had 4 Major and Nadad has 6 !!

  11. Roger is not only the greatest, he plays the most sensible game - he does not overstretch his physical capabilities. I think Nadal at his young age has already wrecked his knees...even when they heal, they will never be able to continue taking the sustained punishment that propelled Nadal to Nr. 1. Meanwhile Fed. has avoided injury, strains and sprains - he will go on to win more titles - His target is 20 before he retires and he will make it.
The quality of tennis has reached a plateau with Fed. The demands on the human body ( viz Nadal ) will not permit more. Take care Murray, don't bother to chase impossible shots - the success rate of impossible return shots does not warrant the effort or the risk of injury...take a leaf from Fed's book...if you do, you can and will achieve great success.

  12. Up to now, I can't see anyone can match Federer. For those Nadal fans, the first thing Nadal can do now is to come back from injury before predicting anything else.

  13. Congratulations to Roger Federrer for displaying such showmanship even when he's facing a tough opponent like Roddick. Roddick improved by leaps and bounds and also deserves great recognition from all tennis enthusiasts. May they both have wonderful years ahead of them to fulfill their dreams/career; and most of all, the best of health to you both, Roger and Andy!! So great to watch you play on Sunday at the Wimbledon.

It's not Fed who claims that he is the best ever to play the game ..
    Everyone else does...

And in this era we have a lot of recorders and fine players....
    Fastest serve ever
Record number of serves per mach
Record number of "in a row" victories on clay court
    Record number of GS titles
    And much more records ...
Go back to 70' old man and watch that slow, weak, boring tennis...

    OMG

    No man no...
You were just younger and more enthusiastic about junk and stuff...
This is the best era ever...
New talents, new styles, new moves...
Much stronger, faster and more dynamic game on the court...
In all the sports new generations makes new records... And the games are better and better with each new G...
New players are competing on the foundations of the legends, using and improving their moves and making their own along the way... Now these days the game is so colorful.. Not a boring service volley tennis.
That's the way it is and that's the way history goes..
    Forward... Not backwards... Never backwards...

Ure an old man... lol .. Longing for your youth... Hahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!

Everyone knows deep in his heart that claiming federer is the best ever is just a CLAIM when you are NOT THE BEST IN YOUR ERA it is laughable to claim that you are the best ever. Federer is so lucky that he came in the weakest era of tennis but when a decent player emerged he lost time and again to him and he lost comprehensively when he wanted most to win (5 out of 7 GS finals ) when your head to head record with your direct rival is 7-13 that means one thing and one thing only that is your rival is superior than you. period.
