QPR manager Jim Magilton has taken former Republic of Ireland striker David Connolly on trial at Loftus Road.
The 32-year-old, a prolific goalscorer during spells with Wimbledon, Sunderland and Leicester, is a free agent after being released by Sunderland.
Rangers are also expected to hold talks with Argentinian playmaker Damian Faurlin, who plays for Instituto in Argentina's second division, this week.

I think David will be a good player for you guys. Give the lad a chance, he works his socks off and can score goals. At the level you are at he will do well.
So typical, as QPR fans we can now all see that yet again this season we are not going to be investing in any decent players again. A 32 year old has been (well nearly) and a second rate argie.
