Priskin unsure over future

Mon 06 Jul, 05:01 PM

Watford striker Tamas Priskin has refused to rule out joining former manager Brendan Rogers at Reading.

The Hungarian, who scored 14 times last season, only has one year left on his contract at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets offered Priskin a new deal last season but the 23-year old has yet to sign, despite insisting he is happy to stay at the club.

"I wouldn't mind working with my previous trainer (Rodgers) again but I'm also happy to stay because Malky Mackay and I were team-mates last year so we have a good relationship." he told Nemzeti Sport.

"My contract will expire in 2010 and I don't have any information about if my club was negotiating my departure with another club.

"I feel very good in Watford. I enjoyed playing football in the last couple of months and after our summer holiday I missed the team and the atmosphere of the club."

  1. Stay with Watford Priskin, Reading doesn't want you, your own fans don't seem to merit you very well, I hope Rogers isn't going to buy a lot of useless players, it seems to me like he wants to get rid of a lot of Reading's good players and bring in players that have played under him before. Come on Rogers buy a couple of decent players, ones that can score or defend well. You have got the money from the selling of Kevin Doyle so use that to buy some good players, not useless ones.

  3. He started last season well pants, for some1 so tall he can't head a ball to save he's life, but he did come good at the end and probably kept us up, the only thing is he doesn't look interested sometimes, wouldn't be to sad if some1 wanted to pay us a few million for him.
