Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has confirmed that a deal has been struck with Dutch side Cambuur for the permanent transfer of Yinka Casal.The 20-year-old defender is now expected to travel to Swindon to undergo a medical and complete the move.

"We have pursued it and it looks as though this one will come to a successful end," Malpas told the club's official website.

"He is a youngster and someone we can work on and improve. We have agreed a deal with his club.

"He is due to come to Swindon, have a medical then we can complete the deal with him putting pen to paper.

"Yinka will add competition to the left-back slot and he could also play further up the field so he will benefit us that's for sure."
