Scunthorpe and Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Joe Murphy is targeting a speedy return to first-team action.Murphy has been sidelined for around 10 days after suffering a groin tear in training, but is hoping to return in around a fortnight's time.
He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I have missed a couple of weeks but the injury seems to be coming along good now.
"I am looking at maybe being back in two weeks, but I don't know for sure. It's obviously down to the physio and how I feel in training."
In the meantime, Murphy believes his understudy Josh Lillis will prove to be a more than capable replacement.
He added: Josh has the ability to play not only at this level, but also in the Championship, so we have no worries about that."
