Charlton boss Alan Pardew admits to a feeling of deja vu as he prepares his side for Saturday's Championship curtain-raiser against Swansea.Charlton were held to a 1-1 draw by another newly-promoted team, Scunthorpe, on the opening day last year and Pardew knows what to expect when the Swans visit The Valley.
"It's almost deja vu with the opposition," he said.
"At the start of last season Scunthorpe were as good as anyone and I think Swansea will be as well. In the first game they'll have a lot of energy and a lot of determination to prove they're good enough, and that makes them very dangerous.
"For anyone who comes here, we're going to be a scalp. The stadium is magnificent, we have good support and as an away side you want to do well here."
