MK Dons have signed former Luton defender Sol Davis on a short-term contract.
The 29-year-old left-back had been on trial with the Dons in recent weeks and featured in the friendly wins over Wolves and Northampton.
Davis suffered a stroke in October 2006 but was back in the Luton side just two months later.
He said: "I've been based in Milton Keynes for some time and have driven past the stadium hoping I might one day get the chance to play here so I'm really pleased.
"Since I was invited to train here I've been really impressed and the manager's record speaks for itself.
"I'm hoping to play as many minutes as possible and show the manager that I am worthy of something longer term."
