Slovenia skipper Robert Koren has accused Wayne Rooney of "going down a bit too easy" to earn a penalty during England's 2-1 win at Wembley in a friendly international.
The Manchester United star was involved in a challenge with Bostjan Cesar who suffered an ankle injury during the incident and had to be substituted, and referee Jonas Eriksson pointed to the spot before Frank Lampard made no mistake to put England on their way to victory.
Koren told Press Association Sport: "We need to see the replay but we have been talking in the dressing room and we think it was not a penalty. I think Rooney went down a bit too easy and let's see if someone will say something against him."
Slovenian keeper Samir Handanovic felt that Rooney should even have been yellow-carded for his part in the incident.
He said: "It was no penalty. Both players were fighting for the ball. In the end Rooney literally fell into Cesar and I think it was a clear foul against our player.
"Maybe Rooney should have been yellow-carded."
Rooney declined to stop and comment when the criticism of him by the Slovenian players was put to him after the game.
Koren also believes that Eriksson was kindly disposed towards England with some of his decisions during the game.
He said: "My personal opinion is the referee was under a little bit of pressure because of the crowd and the England team. That penalty was a little bit too easy, I think.
"When the referee is in charge between these two teams, the English team is a big team and the referee gave them a bit more credit (favour) I think."

Oh dear...Mr. Rooney seemed to have gone back on a word he said about diving - his contempt for players doing it was clear and straight, but his dodgy penalty told us he's just as hypocritical as Mr. Gerrard.
