We caught up with Somerset and former England batsman Marcus Trescothick ahead of his side's trip to India for the inaugural Champions League to discover his love of the Spice Girls and why he is nicknamed 'Mad Fish'.
Who is your sporting hero?
Tiger Woods.
If you were not a cricketer, what would you be doing?
I have no idea! I left school and came straight into cricket from the age of 16 at Somerset, so I have no idea what else I could be doing.
If your house was burning down, what possession would you save?
My Ashes medal for sure, and my England caps too.
What is currently playing on your car stereo?
High School Musical! The first album is always on as my daughter loves it. I get badgered about playing that every single day and it is a regular fixture.
What is your most embarrassing moment on a cricket field?
I had a stinking match in Sri Lanka a few years ago. On the third day I dropped three catches and was out for a duck, all in the space of a few hours - so that was a hideaway day! I just stayed in my room that evening - it was terrible.
Who is your ideal woman apart from the missus?
Cheryl Cole.
If you could have dinner with three people, who would they be?
Tiger Woods, David Beckham and Nelson Mandela.
What do you get up to between matches?
I love to play as much golf as I can, as well as spending time with the family.
If you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be?
Tiger Woods. Not only is he the greatest ever golfer, but he is also a very humble man who deals with incredible pressure all the time. It would be amazing to experience that for a day.
What would be the alternative title to your second autobiography?
'Mad Fish'. That is my nickname in the dressing room because of the film Snatch. There is a guy in the movie who goes mad and ends up shooting himself: the lads all think that was the way I was living for a few years!
What is the most annoying habit which gets on your nerves?
Lateness. I set my watch five minutes fast and it can be frustrating when others are much later.
What is the worst album you have bought (apart from High School Musical)?
They are all brilliant, there are not any bad albums in my collection! I have every Spice Girls album, but I am extremely proud of that!
What are you known for advertising?
Every piece of golf gear under the sun! I have a sponsor for my golf gear anyway, and I am always pulling new stuff out!
British Eurosport will be the exclusive broadcaster of the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 tournament.

I think it's great that Trescothick feels he is able to try playing abroad again after the traumas of his illness. If it works out, maybe there will be a chance for England to have him back in the side.
There can't be a genuine England cricket supporter who doesn't wish you the best of luck and pray that this is the beginning of better days for you, Marcus.
Let noone forget that depression is a destructive illness, every bit as devastating as the knee and ankle injuries, which finally forced Andrew Flintoff to call it a day; it is an illness which takes many forms and one which permeates every area of your life. I'm a fellow-sufferer, so I know. To have Marcus Trescothick fully fit and firing on all cylinders would be great for English cricket but it's far more important to have Marcus fully fit and happy, with the depression behind him.
That's what really matters: for Marcus himself, for his wife and kids, and the rest of his family; for his friends, colleagues and fans. God bless you mate. I'll remember you in my prayers.

If his watch is 5 minutes fast, everyone else is bound to be late!
Great to see that Tresco values his Ashes medal and England caps so much, and is so proud to have played for his country.
Can't you just come back to play 20-20 games for England? Please!
Tresco please come back to play for England! I predict he will score bundles of runs in the Champions league and that will make it all hurt for us fans even more. Good luck to Somerset though.
Why does he get sponsored for golf stuff? That is just plain unfair! I have been building my handicap for years then people like Marcus get sponsors for just being a cricket player?!
Tres sounds a very good lad! I'm sure he would fit in up north with that kind of dry humour. My respect for him has gone up and he sounds a nice man...shame about Somerset though!
