Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale was coy when speaking about his recent investment talks with Dato Chan Tien Ghee but admitted "they went well".

The Malaysian businessman has now returned to Asia having been in Britain for the past week or so, where he has seen the Bluebirds romp to 6-1 and 4-0 victories over Derby and Watford respectively.

Ridsdale spent three days discussing business with Dato Chan in London and the Cardiff chairman simply told the South Wales Echo: "The talks we had went well.

"That's all there is to be said at the moment."

Ridsdale has himself twice previously flown to the Far East for talks.

Elsewhere, long-term absentees Kevin McNaughton, Ross McCormack and Warren Feeney are all likely to get a run out when Cardiff take on Hereford in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday.

  1. I dont know what went on in his days at Leeds but the guy has been a top guy at city, delivering the stadium, training centre, doubling the attendance figures, a team that is chanenging for the premiership and creating a stable setting. And now looking to to sort out the debt left by the lunatic from the Lebonon. So I would say he has done a first-class job at Cardiff, carry on Peter!

  3. How the hell does this guy get the permission to keep operating? If i were a Cardiff fan ( which thankfully i'm not) i'd be very worried indeed.
