Alonso visits Ferrari at Maranello

Double world champion Fernando Alonso has visited Ferrari for the first time since he signed a three-year contract to drive for the Italian Formula One team.

Ferrari said that the Spaniard, who remains under contract to Renault until the end of the year, arrived at the Maranello factory gates just after 8am for talks with team management and technicians.

Alonso, who had a half-hour meeting with Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo, also did a couple of laps of Ferrari's Fiorano test track in a red Ferrari 458 Italia sportscar.

  1. With Alonso on board they will surely be the team to­ watch, he has proven he a worthy world champ by showing­ he can be quick even in a poor car (Renult 08/09). If­ they have even a car close to the fastest car he has­ chance to make 3 world crowns!

    The truth of the matter is that brucef1lee­ with all his IDs is worse than jeanette bolan with all­ her potter IDs. At least Ms Bolan does not tie up the­ site in the way that other idiot.

    I say that bruce is­ not a fan of any part of F1 mind you neither is Ms­ Bolan.
