Bury boss Alan Knill continues to battle a host of injury problems ahead of this weekend's FA Cup tie at Aldershot.
The Shakers have several players on the sidelines and are unlikely to add to their squad with a loan signing as clubs do not want their players to become cup-tied.
Andy Morrell returned to full training this week following an ankle injury but is unlikely to feature, while fellow forward Andy Bishop (groin) is around four weeks away from a return.
Damien Allen has a groin problem of his own and has also picked up a virus, Danny Carlton is set to be out until the new year due to an Achilles injury and Tom Elliot is receiving treatment for a hamstring injury at parent club Leeds.
Another loanee, David Worrall, is also unavailable for the trip to the EBB Stadium with a knee ligament injury.
