Magilton hails Laws effect

QPR boss Jim Magilton has paid homage to the work manager Brian Laws has done during his time at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of their trip to Hillsborough.

Despite having only taken one point from their last two fixtures, the Hoops sit in sixth position and have their sights set firmly on returning to the Premier League. But manager Magilton will not let his side get carried away with their end of season aspirations however, and remains wary of the task ahead of them this weekend.

He told club's website: "It will be a very, very tough game. I've always admired Brian Law's sides. I like watching them because they play the right way, but I don't necessarily like playing against them."

He added: "Brian has assembled a very capable squad of players this season. They've got some very good players, but we'll go about our business as we always do, looking to bring the three points back to west London."

  1. Jim as an ex Wednesday player you are just being far too kind, we have a very weak squad with no one of any real ability. So thanks for the compliment but it was always going to be an easy 3 points.
