Miller headache for Quakers

Darlington defender Ian Miller appears to have lost his race to be fit for his side's first-round FA Cup clash at Barnet.

Miller suffered concussion in the 3-0 defeat at Barnet two weeks ago and although he missed last Saturday's 2-1 loss at Hereford, he was expected to recover in time for the return to Underhill.

But the 25-year-old centre-half is still complaining of headaches and has only been able to return to light training this week, so Matt Plummer is expected to resume his partnership alongside Steve Foster.

Manager Steve Staunton will also be without new signing Nathan Mulligan, who made his debut at Hereford, as he has already appeared for Norton & Stockton in the competition.

French striker Mor Diop, another recent signing, from Spanish fourth division side Ibiza, stepped off the bench to make his first appearance last week and could start for the Quakers.
