Aldershot forward Marvin Morgan is in contention to return to the starting line-up against Bury for Jason Dodd's final game in charge.

Dodd will return to Southampton after the FA Cup first round tie to take up a coaching role with the academy and Morgan is hoping to return to his first XI.

Morgan - who has scored seven times this season - has been struggling with a stomach injury but was sent for a scan last week which revealed no damage.

He was on the bench against Rotherham last weekend but may oust John Grant in the lone striker's role against the Shakers.

Midfielder Louie Soares is a slight doubt after missing training with an ankle knock but Ben Harding is likely to make a welcome return after his ankle injury.

John Halls (groin) is also back in light training but is not ready yet for a first-team return, while Dave Winfield sits out the second of his three-match suspension.
