Milan are struggling to adapt to the tactical changes made necessary by Ronaldinho's arrival, according to Brazilian team-mate Kaka.
Ronaldinho moved to the seven-times European champions from Barcelona in the close season and has scored seven goals in Serie A.
However, Milan have not won in four games in all competitions and Kaka has been less impressive in attack than usual this season, in part because he is being asked to cover back more.
"Ronnie has settled in very well and he's giving us a big hand, but before we were used to playing with automatic moves consolidated over the years," Kaka was quoted as saying by Saturday's La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Me and Clarence [Seedorf] behind a forward, usually [Filippo] Inzaghi. With Ronaldinho the team has had to change set-up and we have to get used to having the same automatic moves with him.
"We play together in the national team, but it's not the same. It's a question of understanding, which is lacking a little."
The playmaker said at times he has to "sacrifice himself" for the side.
"I'm trying to adapt tactically because I often find myself playing closer to the midfielders," he explained.
"I'd like to play nearer the strikers, but I understand the needs of the team. The fact is that people expect something different from me, assists and goals, and if they don't arrive I get criticised."
Kaka is also looking forward to England midfielder David Beckham's arrival on loan from LA Galaxy later this month.
"He'll help us achieve our goals for the season," he said. "Then maybe he'll fall in love with Milan and stay for many years instead of two months."

the heading itself is misleading !! he never said ronaldinho is a problem what he 'd tried to say is he's finding difficult to adopt to the new system May be he is right co's he's not as effective as before and his scoring rate has came down but he never complained until now and he just responded to the remark about his current form and lack of goals , All the ungrateful fans who are fighting each others to abuse kaka are worst then a slob and those fans are easily forgetting about his contribution to club for winning CL and loyalty to the club when he decided to stay back and stick with Milan when he had a good opportunity to sign for Chelsea and Madrid and the fans are giving him sticks for his commitment now i think he' had already decided his next destination for the coming season and most likely he is heading towards M.city where he'll find himself more wanted and loved like Robhino ! Ronaldinho is not as good as before and he's finding hard to hold starting place in his National team and that speaks for himself !!
Kaka is greet, but Ronaldinho is better bcos since the arrive of Ronaldinho kaka has not been effective like before.
It's spelt BECKHAM columfoskin.
I'd look a little closer to home for a real muppet
milan are old hasbeens about 4 decent players left the rest are past it including bend it like becham another muppet
Pirlo, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Inzaghi you cant play with them, at the moment Ronaldinho is your best team player, play with him and try to learn something from him.
20 - Beckham hasn't been hyped at all for his move from Galaxy to Milan
i'm just saying that becks is in fact IN and that i think that kaka is going to be GONE! he's the one talking @#$%...
Kick oldie Inzaghi from the front and everything is fine ...
kaka little @#$%
get lost
So is kaka saying that gaochu cant play the automatic moves. Thats unfair. The team and a number of players are simply not in top form yet
19 - I am not commenting on the current form of Kaka...his form may have dropped and he is probably a has been which is your personal opinion (you are entitled to one). I was questioning comment #6. Given his past contributions to Milan (he has been a key player in the Milan sides that won the CL twice and reached the final one more time) in recent years, he IS a Milan great. There is no doubt about it.
Ronaldinho IS a Barca great even if during the past two seasons he was not the same Ronaldihno.
P.S. - I won't comment on your genius conclusion regarding my nickname. Your unparalleled power of deduction says it all by itself
n1 16.
The heading is too hilarus why do you say ronnie is causing problem, afterall the guy is trying to change milan patern to a better one so that they might win something this season .
I agree with "ripped of ". Beckham is overrated, overhyped RUBBISH !!
Comment Number 15 - no wonder u call urself the Joker! Kaka is now a bit part greta player. He'll show a moment of brilliance in a game or ascore a goal but will disappear for the rest of the season. The guy is a has been already. He needs to move to a team with young quality players which force him to pull his finger out of his arse cos on the pitch he is nowhere near as good as he used to be and there is no evidence of him getting back to his best!
SHAME ON YOU, EUROSPORT MODERATORS!!! YOUR TITLE HERE IS JUST PATHETIC ANDCOMPLETELY RUBBISH!!!
what are you saying people?!!Kaka is right he can't score when he is playing as a centre midfielder.he is the player who runs more and tries more to halp milan win and you say that he is gone...
had to laugh at comment 4
remind me where the pool finished last season
Kaka IS a Milan great.
