MK Dons boss Paul Ince is set to be without captain Keith Andrews for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section semi-final at Gillingham.Andrews was left out of the 1-0 win at Rotherham on Saturday which lifted the Dons 11 points clear at the head of League Two with a thigh strain and Ince is unlikely to risk his influential midfielder in the cup competition.
On-loan Macclesfield man Jordan Hadfield filled in for Andrews at Millmoor and should again deputise alongside Colin Cameron and Alan Navarro in the three-man midfield.
Utility player Jude Stirling was surprisingly selected as the central striker against the Millers and Ince must decide between Stirling - usually deployed at right-back - or Drewe Broughton for that role.
Defender Sean O'Hanlon made his return from a knock as a substitute at the weekend and is available while Aaron Wilbraham is still out with a knock and Kevin Gallen remains sidelined with a groin problem.
Ince could choose to rotate some members of his squad but is bound by competition rules to field at least six of his regular starting XI.
