Bryan Robson has saluted the travelling Sheffield United fans who saw the Blades upset Bolton in the FA Cup at the weekend.Robson has come under considerable pressure after a poor first half of the season, with some sections of the Bramall Lane support calling for him to be sacked.
But after David Carney's third-round winner the Blades manager was in generous mood and he said: "It was great to see the fans enjoy the game.
"It made it a good atmosphere inside the stadium. You always enjoy a win and the fans got right behind us.
"It was great support and I think the lads responded, we played some nice football.
"It helped that the pitch was in good condition, it allowed us to pass the ball a little better."
