Wycombe boss Paul Lambert is set to hand a debut to striker Leon Knight when his side travels to face Mansfield in League Two on Tuesday.Knight signed an 18-month deal at Adams Park on Saturday after leaving MK Dons for an undisclosed fee and will partner the experienced Scott McGleish in a potentially deadly front two.
Midfielder Tommy Docherty will make his first start since turning his loan spell from QPR into a permanent switch while Rab Douglas will continue in goal.
Frank Fielding is poised to return from Blackburn after his successful loan spell but the paperwork has not been completed in time for the Mansfield game so Douglas will deputise.
Jamie Young is making good progress from a hamstring muscle tear and could play some part before the end of January but fellow goalkeeper Scott Shearer (ankle) is not expected to play again this season.
Defender Will Antwi remains out with a groin injury while Mike Williamson (knee & broken arm) is also still sidelined.
