Swansea defender Marcos Painter faces a race against time to be fit to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi-final clash with Brighton.Painter sustained an ankle injury in the 1-1 FA Cup third round draw with Havant & Waterlooville and could be handed a late fitness test by manager Roberto Martinez.
Martinez, meanwhile, is definitely unable to call on Ferrie Bodde and Alan Tate (both banned) while defender Angel Rangel returns from a one-match suspension.
Bodde sits out the third of his five-game ban while Tate begins a three-match ban following his sending off at the weekend.
Midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones (ankle) remains sidelined while Guillem Bauza and Darryl Duffy will be hoping to both feature.
The Swans will be bidding to extend a 10-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
