Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson has been handed a double injury boost with the news Jamie McCunnie and Andy Monkhouse could soon return.Knee injuries have meant McCunnie and Monkhouse have missed the last seven and six games respectively for the Pools.

But the duo should both be available for selection within a fortnight.

"Jamie has been out since the Tranmere game," physio James Haycock told the club's official website. "We are hoping he can step up his recover and return to full training within a week or so.

"Andy is still struggling and had his knee flushed out a fortnight ago. He is expected to make a return to training in about two weeks."
