Artur Boruc has warned Celtic he could still leave despite signing a new contract.

The Polish international has just penned a deal until 2011 but said he might not stay for the duration and will be off if the Bhoys get a £10 million offer.

"If I leave Celtic in the future I would like to do it in a fair way. I do not want to benefit from the Webster ruling or any other legal avenues," he said.

"I have extended my contract but this does not change my transfer value. If somebody is willing to pay around £10m for me I will be allowed to leave Glasgow.

"I have received a good offer from Celtic and that is why I have extended my contract. The new deal will expire in 2011. I did not use the help of a player agent and negotiated the terms personally. I know best what is good for me.

"I was learning about the interest of other clubs in signing me only from the newspapers. I did not receive any concrete transfer offers."

Boruc said he was flattered by rumours linking him with Milan but said a deal was a long way from being done.

"I am calm. There is nothing to talk about as these are only rumours. Milan is a great team, the city is beautiful and the weather there is nice. Of course, I would like to play for them but for the moment there is nothing concrete."
