Skipper Roger Johnson believes the next five games are crucial to Wolves' survival hopes - starting with Sunday's derby with West Brom at Molineux.
Mick McCarthy's side also face home games with Blackburn and Manchester United and away meetings with Newcastle and Fulham during that period.
Wolves moved out of the bottom three thanks to the weekend win at QPR but central defender Johnson knows there is still much work to be done.
He said: "It was a massive win on Saturday, a must-win game. Everyone was aware of that, the manager, players, and supporters after losing at home to Liverpool in mid-week.
"But, for me, the next five games are massive.
"We've got West Brom this weekend and then Newcastle and Blackburn. For me, the next five games will determine our season."

As a Wolves fan i see a few problems with that team our best defender now Bassong not in that team and Jarvis on the bench when Eggert (who has been awful so far) playing. Jarvis and Bassong in for Craddock and Eggert also Doyle up top with Fletch!!!
Wolves have simply got to beat the Baggies. If they do then we will remain in contact with the survivors if not we will see salvation sailing over the horizon and out of sight. We need an all out attempt for all three points and that means Henessey, Foley, Johnson, Craddock, Ward, Kightly, Jonsson, O'Hara, Edwards, Blake, Fletcher. That is 4 - 4 - 2 with the option of Doyle and Jarvis coming on if we are behind.
