Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson will be without top scorer Richie Barker for Saturday afternoon's visit of Gillingham to Victoria Park.Barker suffered a knee injury in the Pools' 1-0 win over Oldham on Tuesday and will now spend at least a month in the Victoria Park treatment room, with Joel Porter the likely candidate to replace him.
Wilson told the club's official website: "It's always disappointing to lose your top scorer.
"Richie will be a big miss that's for sure but hopefully someone else can come in and do the business."
Defender Ben Clark (thigh) is still someway off a first-team return but came through 90 minutes for the reserves in their 1-1 draw at York in midweek.
Wilson is still unable to call on striker James Brown (knee) who is yet to return to training following his injury.
