Portsmouth's Milan Baros insists there is confidence within the side to beat Manchester United in the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Saturday.Pompey go into the Old Trafford clash as underdogs but the on-loan Lyon forward believes there is no reason to let "the worst draw" possible dent their morale.

Harry Redknapp's side have won eight times in 15 away matches in the Premier League this term, drawing another and losing just six times.

Baros told the club's official website: "It was the worst draw we could have got.

"But that's football for you. We'll go there full of confidence and with a great away record.

"At the very least we feel we can get the draw to bring them back down to Fratton Park."

The 26-year-old bullishly added: "We don't mind if we beat them up there or down there - either way we will fight them hard to make it happen."

And Czech Republic striker Baros, who previously enjoyed stints in England with Liverpool and Aston Villa, also admitted that the FA Cup meant a great deal to him.

"The FA Cup is a fantastic trophy with a lot of history behind it and it would be fantastic to win that trophy with Pompey," he said.

"It's never easy to play United - it doesn't matter if it's home or away.

"But they're a great team and Old Trafford is a great stadium. As a footballer, they're the kind of games you look forward to," he continued.

The south coast club have yet to face top-flight opposition in this year's cup, so far beating second-tier sides Preston, Plymouth and Ipswich.
