Bug bites Rovers ahead of cup

Bristol Rovers are fighting a sickness bug ahead of the club's FA Cup sixth-round tie against West Brom at the Memorial Stadium on Sunday.Midfield duo Chris Lines and David Pipe and striker Richard Walker all missed the midweek league defeat to Doncaster through illness and first-team coach Paul Trollope faces an anxious wait over their fitness for Sunday's televised clash against the Championship promotion contenders.

On-loan midfielder Anthony Pulis is ineligible having already featured in the competition for his parent club Stoke.

Full-back Ryan Green continues to miss out with the Achilles problem that has kept him sidelined since November.

Fellow defender Steve Elliott has resumed training after a knee injury but this game could come too soon.
