Burnley boss Owen Coyle will be without banned duo Joey Gudjonsson and Steven Caldwell for Saturday's Britannia Stadium clash with Stoke. The pair were dismissed for two yellow card offences in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat against Hull at the KC Stadium.
Caldwell serves a one-match ban, while Iceland international Gudjonsson will be forced to sit out the next two games.
He was sent off earlier in the season against Preston and his absence looks almost certain to open the door for on-loan Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall.
The Gunners prospect, 18, has made six substitute appearances for the Clarets since arriving at Turf Moor in January.
He should be handed a long-awaited start while Stan Varga or David Unsworth will replace Caldwell, left-back Jon Harley expected to be available after missing the Hull defeat due to the birth of his son.
