Scunthorpe have key defender Andy Butler back in contention for Saturday's short trip into East Yorkshire to face Hull at the KC Stadium.Butler sat out last week's home win over Coventry through suspension and may struggle to win back his place alongside Andy Crosby at the heart of defence after Izzy Iriekpen's man-of-the-match display.

New loan signing Curtis Weston could go straight into the squad following his arrival until the end of the season this week from Leeds.

Geoff Horsfield is expected to be fit after missing out last week with a hamstring strain and if the on-loan Sheffield United striker fails to make it Ben May will continue up front alongside leading goalscorer Martin Paterson.

Iron manager Nigel Adkins will also be without midfielder Matt Sparrow, who will sit out the second of a three-game ban.
