Brighton & Hove Albion manager Dean Wilkins is again likely to leave out winger Dean Cox for the trip to Carlisle United on Saturday afternoon.Cox was left out of the squad which beat Gillingham 4-2 on Tuesday night because of a disciplinary issue - the second time this season Cox has been omitted for that reason.
Wilkins said: "Cox was left out and it's a disciplinary issue that will remain in-house. That's as much as I will say. At the moment he's not involved for Saturday."
The Seagulls manager is confident Steve Thomson will recover from a neck injury in time for the clash while David Martot will be aiming to keep his place in the team after being recalled to the starting XI against the Gills.
Jake Robinson is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score against the Gills, while Ian Westlake should start again after an impressive debut in midweek.
Doug Loft has recovered from a knee knock but is unlikely to feature as he is short of match fitness, but midfielder Paul Reid and defender Adam Hinshelwood are both long-term absentees with knee injuries.
