Leeds midfielder Andy Hughes could return to the squad for the home clash with Bournemouth while Dougie Freedman could be set for his debut.Hughes has missed the last two matches due to a knee injury, but returned to full training this week and manager Gary McAllister hinted the 30-year-old might be ready to play some part.

Skipper Jonathan Douglas also rejoined the first-team squad for training this week after being sidelined since December with knee ligament damage, but is not yet ready to return.

Alan Thompson is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after stepping off the substitutes' bench at Swindon last week after returning from a loan spell at Hartlepool.

Fellow midfielder Neil Kilkenny is expected to start again after shaking off an Achilles injury, with David Prutton, Jonny Howson and Bradley Johnson all in contention.

McAllister has boosted his attacking options by signing his countryman Freedman on loan from Crystal Palace and he will compete with Tresor Kandol for the right to partner top scorer Jermaine Beckford in attack.
