Fri 07 Mar, 04:45 PM

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has ruled out the possibility of Ipswich, or any other Championship side, taking David Healy on loan.Jim Magilton was hopeful of persuading the Northern Ireland forward to sign on at Portman Road after pulling out of a move for Portsmouth striker David Nugent.

But Hodgson said: "A lot of clubs would like to take Healy, those looking for promotion in the Championship where they are still to have loans, but we will not be letting him go.

"David has not played much that's just the choices I've made so far. But he is a goalscorer and we may call on him yet."
