Fri 07 Mar, 10:45 PM

Chesterfield moved back into the League Two play-off places by sending Lincoln crashing to a 4-1 defeat at Saltergate on Friday night. Two goals from loan midfielder Lloyd Kerry started and ended the scoring to wrap an impressive victory for the home side.

Jack Lester netted his 26th goal of the season and Peter Leven also netted after substitute Ben Wright had pulled a one back.

Goalkeeper Alan Marriott was Lincoln's best player but poor defending left him exposed when Kerry scored in the 38th minute.

Lester drove in a fine individual goal in the 52nd minute but a defensive mix-up allowed Wright to reply five minutes later.

Leven restored Chesterfield's two-goal advantage two minutes later and Jamie Ward broke away 10 minutes from time to set up Kerry for the fourth.
