Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson has completed the signing of Sheffield United goalkeeper Jamie Annerson on an initial month-long loan deal.Richardson has secured the services of the England Under-19 international after releasing former Arsenal stopper Michael Jordan from his contract by mutual consent.
The 19-year-old is yet to feature for the Blades' first-team and has previously spent time on loan with Rotherham earlier this season, where he made just one appearance in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Richardson said: "Jamie is a highly-rated young 'keeper who I expect will provide extra competition."
