VALENCIA, Spain - America's Angela Williams won the women's 60m gold at the world indoor championships here on Friday in a time of 7.06sec,
Britain's Jeannette Kwakye (7.08) won silver with Tahesia Harrigan of the Virgin Islands taking bronze in 7.09.
The 28-year-old Williams, who had been a silver medallist in 2001 and 2003, took gold in the best time this year.
