Midfielder Bolder, 27, joined QPR from Derby last season and began the current campaign as the Hoops' captain, before falling out of favour with new manager Luigi De Canio.

QPR travel to Hillsborough to meet Wednesday in the Championship on Saturday, but Bolder will not be able to play as he is suspended after picking up his 10th booking of the season at Barnsley last weekend.

He will also miss the Owls' trip to Colchester on Tuesday night.

Frenchman Songo'o, 20, arrives on a month-long loan deal and could be included in the squad to meet Rangers.

He provides cover out wide, with Wade Small struggling with a hip injury and Jermaine Johnson suspended for four matches.

Wednesday boss Brian Laws was impressed with Songo'o during his loan spell at Crystal Palace earlier this season.

"He has an abundance of talent and pace and I hope he will be an excellent acquisition for us, starting on Saturday against QPR," Laws said.

"Franck can play both sides and that is definitely a bonus for us because he is adaptable.

"He played against us at Crystal Palace earlier in the season and showed then that he has a real turn of pace and can be creative."
