FOOTBALL - Frank Lampard, Chelsea - 0

Saturday

Barnsley v Chelsea (17:30)

Barnsley will look to repeat the heroics of their fifth-round victory over Liverpool without Brazilian midfielder Anderson de Silva after he picked up a knee injury. Jon Macken and Lewin Nyatanga are again cup-tied. Anfield hero Luke Steele remains in goal as Heinz Muller is out for several months, while former club captain Paul Reid is also out as the Reds chase a semi-final berth for the first time in 96 years.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech - who missed out in the Champions League in midweek - could be absent from the Cup clash at Oakwell, with Carlo Cudicini waiting in the wings. Midfield general Frank Lampard is available to Avram Grant after his red card against West Ham was rescinded by the FA.

Manchester United v Portsmouth (12:45)

Manchester United are missing Ryan Giggs (calf) from the left side of midfield and long-term defensive victims Mikael Silvestre (knee) and Gary Neville (calf).

Pompey are still without defenders Linvoy Primus and Noe Pamarot (both knee), midfielder Pedro Mendes (foot) and David Nugent (hernia) for the match at Old Trafford.

Sunday

Bristol Rovers v West Brom (18:00)

League One Rovers have been struck down by a fitness bug this week, with midfield pair Chris Lines and David Pipe plus striker Richard Walker all doubtful after they sat out the midweek defeat to Doncaster. Full-back Ryan Green has a long-term Achilles problem and Steve Elliott is not yet ready after a knee injury. Anthony Pulis, on loan from Stoke, is cup-tied.

West Brom welcomed back Kevin Phillips in midweek, the super-striker coming off the bench to head a 96th-minute winner at Sheffield Wednesday. His starting replacement Roman Bednar is doubtful with a calf knock while defender Carl Hoefkens (leg) may also be absent and midfielder Filipe Teixeira (knee) is definitely out.

Middlesbrough v Cardiff (14:00)

Striker Jeremie Aliadiere is suspended for Boro while Andrew Taylor and Robert Huth are sidelined at the back and Fabio Rochemback misses out in midfield.

Key Cardiff playmaker Joe Ledley may make his first appearance in a month at the Riverside. Strikers Robbie Fowler (hip) and Warren Feeney (ankle) remain out. Riccardo Scimeca and Trevor Sinclair returned to midfield against Crystal Palace in midweek and could retain their places, while Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was rested with this match in mind.
