Bristol Rovers look set to be without Danny Coles when they travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night. The right-back was substituted after only 17 minutes of Saturday's goalless home draw against Hartlepool after suffering a knee injury.
He is set to undergo a scan to discover the extent of the damage but it is hoped the problem is not too serious and he could be fit for the trip to Bournemouth at the weekend.
Left-back Aaron Lescott will switch to the opposite full-back position to cover Coles' absence, with Joe Jacobson being recalled to fill the position vacated by Lescott.
Fellow defender Ryan Green underwent an operation on Friday in a bid to cure the troublesome Achilles injury that has kept him out since November and it has now been confirmed he will not play again this season.
